Mommy’s Home!

My Mommy’s home!!!  She brushed me last night and loved on me and I got her all dirty but she didn’t care.  I missed my Mommy.  She’s been crying a lot and I just lick her tears and snuggle her harder.  Snuggling her harder makes her stop crying I think.  I missed my Mommy.

I am a little stressed out corgi. Momma and Dad are argueing and so it’s either all quiet or they are growling at each other. I’m so glad today is Monday and Dad went to work so Momma will be her normal calm and happy self. And that I get to be a couch potatoe again.

My Momma

My Momma didn’t take me to class yesterday.  We go to obedience class on Mondays.  She was inside all day long and laid on the couch.  She said something about a pill but I didn’t see one.  I think she is still not good.  She’s been laying on the couch again today.  I will go kiss her and make it all better.

Obedience

My Momma has been taking me to obedience classes.  It’s fun – most of the time – but Momma tries to teach me “stand” and I don’t want to.  I’d rather sit and look at her with all my love in my big ol’ corgi heart.  I don’t even get cookies in class!!  WTF?  I get cookies when the kids have class outside in the doggie play yard.  This is not fair.  Doesn’t she know I am the most obedient and loving dog IN THE WORLD???  But, I do get to go bye bye with Momma and she pets me a lot and talks to me a lot.  I did have to ride in the suburban last night, and that was weird.  I am used to loading up in the truck.  It doesn’t have 4 doors.  This “Burban” as Daddy calls it is so strange to me.

Class

I went to start obedience class last night. I thought my Momma was going to be my handler but my girl did it instead. Something about a bladder infection. Anyway, my girl was not very patient. I kept looking at Momma and asking if I really had to sit for this girl, but all Momma could do was laugh. Then after class I got to go meet my new cousin, Sweet Pea. She’s so funny!! And barked and barked. I almost rolled over for her to play with me but changed my mind. Then there were these black big fluffy puppies. They aren’t cousins but they are my friend, Star’s puppies. They all crowded into a corner and I could not tell one from the next! They sure look like fun.

House Time

I’ve gotten a lot of house time this weekend. I’ve napped with Momma a few times already. Momma didn’t seem to like it when I laid across her belly, but she petted me anyways.

Dad’s been a GROUCH!!!! He was hollering about dishes and laundry and everything.

What does that have to do with giving me cookies??

I love my Momma

My Momma is the best Momma ever. She lets me stay up late with her while the rest of the dogs are asleep in their crates and Dad is asleep in bed. We snuggle in the recliner or on the couch. We watch strange TV shows and she pets me a lot. She sure loves me a lot.

Mom Likes ME Best!

Momma and I napped this afternoon on her bed.  Well, OK  I chewed on a rawhide and kept her awake with my kisses, but I am sure she didn’t mind at all, because – after all – I am her favorite.

I also couldn’t leave the room because Momma’s MEAN OLD CAT was laying by the bedroom door.  Really, she is MEAN. 

So I hung out with Momma on the bed.  I slept for a little bit on her feet.  Then on her pillow by her head, then on Dad’s pillow.  Then I decided to lay across Momma’s belly. 

I really like her heated blanket.  I think I need one in my crate.

Naked!

Momma took me over to Ms. Leda’s last night to give me a bath without hurting her back. Ms. Leda cut my ears hairs! I feel so naked! It’s awful cold outside and now that cold wind just goes right in my ears!! Momma is keeping me inside since I am clean and I am a good boy. Also, Momma hurts all over and needs me. It is really bad outside. Dad even came home from work EARLY today. He said there are wrecks all over the place and his boss said “go home while you still can”. Momma has all the other doggies in their crates. Well, not really. Beaux and Baby are loose with me. The others are in their crates.

That New Boy

So yesterday I was soooo happy.  I got to go bye  bye with Momma and my girl.  We went to the grocery store but then we went to pick up Devin, that BOY that Emilee likes.  Well, I had to be IN THE TRUCK with him!!!  He fed me a french fry from McDonalds, and also a doggie treat.  I let him pet me, too.  I guess he’s not so bad after all.
